Alligator Hands
Alligator Hands blends alt-rock, pop, and rap into something honest and hard to define. The Baltimore band formed in late 2024 after Brady Scott (vocals/ukulele) brought a binder of lyrics and chords, written over the past five years, to Ryan Fitzgerald (drums) and AJ Lockner (bass). What started as a collection of demos recorded in early 2025 evolved into their upcoming debut album, Delicate Cindy, recorded that summer. The album is about growing up, losing people, and learning to accept yourself, drawing from Brady’s experiences with relationships and his societal transition as a trans man. The first single, “What’s on My Mind,” is out now, with more to follow.
Hotel Sewing Kit
Hotel Sewing Kit is a quartet of queer women making music in Washington, D.C. Entranced by the intimate lyrics of Grace Ann Keller, infectious bass of Zehava Kasenetz, driving rhythm of Molly Izer, and dreamy guitar textures of Hailey Cook, they paint pictures of love, heartbreak, and everywhere in between. Hotel Sewing Kit wields indie rock to draw you into a world just out of your reach, for fans of Elliott Smith, The Sundays, and Big Thief.
Birdcage
Birdcage is a Washington, DC based indie rock quartet. Their signature sound consists of an active rhythm section, melodic lyrics, and attention-grabbing lead lines. The band features Ariel “Canary” Frisch on vocals and guitar, Owen “Pigeon” Schafer on bass, Jack “Duck” Nerney on drums, and Noah “Owl” Schneider on keys and guitar. They are currently working on recording an album to be released later this year!
