Made possible with support from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, the Fever Dream release show is a celebration of queer local talent across the DMV. From the designers and photographers who shaped its visual world to the musicians, band members, writers, and artists who brought the project to life, this night puts the region's LGBTQ+ creative community front and center. Every act on the lineup is part of D.C.'s LGBTQ+ community, making the whole night a showcase of queer artistry both on stage and behind the scenes.

Bryce Bowyn

For Fans of: Madonna, Depeche Mode, Troye Sivan

Bryce Bowyn celebrates the release of his new album Fever Dream with a hometown show in Washington, D.C. The D.C.-based electropop artist makes anthemic, synth-driven music that feels both nostalgic and urgently modern, wrapping cutting, self-aware lyricism inside hooks that refuse to let go. A three-time recipient of the D.C. Arts and Humanities Fellowship (2024–2026), Bowyn built toward Fever Dream with the singles "Adonis" and "Telekinetic," earning recognition from GLAAD, Atwood Magazine, Queerty, Ladygunn, and the Washington Blade along the way. A dynamic live presence, he has performed at D.C.'s Capital Pride and opened for Dixon Dallas, GIRLI, and Vendredi Sur Mer. Fever Dream is his boldest, most fully realized statement yet: bold, unfiltered, and completely his own.

Shelley Star & The Galaxy

FFO: Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, David Bowie

Shelley Star & The Galaxy are making cosmic waves in Washington, DC, bringing out-of-this-world lyrics, vibrant pop-rock melodies, and theatrical flair to the Nation's capital. The enigmatic Shelley Star powerfully belts and stomps the stage in platform space boots while high-octane musicians "The Galaxy" shred by her side. The band takes musical inspiration from icons such as Lady Gaga, ABBA, and David Bowie, and their style comes from deep roots in the art of drag.

Ari Voxx

FFO: Kate Bush, Imogen Heap, Cocteau Twins

Ari Voxx is DC's Dreamy Pop Princess. Well-versed in many different music worlds, she focuses on writing music that is eclectic and authentically her, transcending genres. With a sound heavily inspired by the moods and vibes of 80s/90s new-wave and pop artists, a performance from Ari Voxx and The Sad Lads casts a nostalgic atmosphere over the listener. Expect to experience misty soundwaves propelled by pulsating beats, generously draped with precise, dynamic vocals.

Ari's latest single "Astronauta" is an atmospheric post-rock/dream-pop song inspired by the post-apocalyptic novel Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler.
