The Coverups

What happens when kids raised on the Warped Tour and Total Request Live grow up, move to DC, and get jobs, all while staying cool by listening to Taylor Swift and Chappell Roan? The answer: The DC Coverups, a six-piece cover band playing Millennial Nostalgia across rock, pop, indie, pop punk, even disco, and r&b for over a decade at bars and house parties throughout the DMV. Founded in 2014 by bassist/vocalist Zach Bachtell, drummer Chris Merriman, and keyboardist/bassist Eric Rahman as The Infamous Sons of Grover (anyone else remember A.P. U.S. History?), the group eventually rebranded as The Coverups, adding Cait Hone on vocals, Simon Hudes on guitar, and Ben Ashman on keys.
